Certain darkness.
There is a certain darkness
in his growling edge of mind.
Say you believe in something,
say you dream of me.
Creature comforts calling;
calling trumpets freedom, to a
creed. To a natural seed
that will - germinate within and sing
of my freedom to fly above reality.
To die with some dignity, to rip
at the world with tears of ecstasy
to believe.
There is a certain darkness
when we look away from light
I say I am here seeing, sensing,
taking in and learning.
The darkness is a dream -
a crawling youngster of needing
comfort - but demanding
to reach higher and flower
within certain limitations
to live on with delight and desire
for despair at the torn edges of our world,
our one reality.
